Houlgate, with its long beach of fine sand, is about 2 ½ hours from Paris and midway between Deauville and Caen.
Supervised boarding and classes are housed together in a 12-hectare park at the CREPS in Houlgate.
Classes take place in three rooms, one of which is a dance studio.

The course is to take place at the CREPS in Houlgate – route de la Vallée – 14510 Houlgate. Houlgate (about 200km from Paris) can be reached either by car (on the A13 Normandy motorway, exit 29 from Paris, or on the D513 Caen-Deauville-Honfleur road), by rail from Saint-Lazare station in Paris (several trains per day in summer – www.sncf.com or 3615 SNCF), by car on the A13 Normandy motorway exit 29 - Dozulés - see www.trafic.com by bus using the ‘bus verts’ from Caen SNCF railway station (take the Bus Verts line 20 and get off at the CREPS bus stop – 0810 214 214 or www.busverts.com), by ferry via the Portsmouth – Ouistreham route (20km from Cabourg) www.brittany-ferries.com, or by plane via Paris (www.adp.fr or 3615 HORAVION) or via Caen-Carpiquet (02 31 71 2010 – the Lyon/Caen route is run by Air France).
Residential accommodation: communal accommodation at the CREPS in Houlgate, route de la Vallée, 14510 Houlgate.
Classical dance classes will take place in the Espace Coubertin, while Modern Jazz and Musical classes will be held in the Gymnase Le Tourneur.

Terms and conditions
1. The course is open to beginner, intermediate and advanced dancers, as well as to professionals and teachers.
2. Course participation is subject to the registration documents being accepted by the Association Choréographique Paris Normandie. The Association reserves the right to refuse an application without having to justify its decision.
3. Children are accepted from the age of 8. All under-18s must have authorization from their parents or legal guardians.
4. Children under the age of 18 without legal authorization to leave the centre shall remain inside the centre and its grounds.
5. It is the responsibility of the parents or the legal guardian to ensure that their child/children are supervised outside of class times. The Management cannot be held responsible.
6. Participants must have personal insurance during the course.
7. Participants must always carry their registration card, as they may be asked to produce it at any time. The card will be issued upon arrival at the centre.
8. The Management reserves the right to cancel or to change the programme of the course, as well as to change the location or the dates.
9. The Association cannot be held responsible for any bodily injury or damage to property, whatever the cause.
10. The Management reserves the right to issue a warning and then, in case of force majeure, to exclude any participant who does not respect the rules of the centre.
11a. Payment of a deposit (50% of the chosen formula + 28 euros administration fee) only acts to make the registration definite. The remaining amount must be paid before 31 July 2008. In case of
• withdrawal before 15 July 2008, half of the deposit will be refunded. Beyond this date, the deposit will be retained by the Association. All courses that are started are due in full.
• illness, upon presentation of a medical certificate, the course may be postponed to the following year. If after this date, the participant is not allowed to dance on medical grounds, any sum exceeding the total of 50% of the chosen formula and the administration fee may be reimbursed.
11b. Personal data protection: information that you give upon registration will be data-processed. In accordance with article 27 of the law of 6 January 1978, you have the right to access and rectify this information at the head office of the association or at the course location.
12. Registrations will be accepted up until the first day of the course, as well as during the course, if they are places available.
13. All participants registering for the course certify that they have not been forbidden to dance on medical grounds and should problems arise after their registration, they undertake to inform the Association Choréographique Paris Normandie by registered letter with return receipt of any health problem that may handicap them in dance activities. They authorize any surgical intervention considered essential by a qualified doctor and undertake to accept the costs (for under-18s, the parents/legal guardian of the child undertakes to accept the financial costs).
14. The Management cannot be held responsible for cases of theft.
15. All magnetic, video or cinema recordings are forbidden, except with the agreement of the teacher and the Management.
16. French law governs participation in this course, over which the Paris court has jurisdiction.

Further InformationO The residential formula includes an unlimited number of classes. Residential participants should arrive on Sunday 24/08/08 before dinner. Classes will finish at noon on Saturday 30/08/08 and participants leave after lunch.
O Meals: breakfast begins at 7am and finishes at 8.30am. Lunch begins at 12 noon and finishes at 12.45pm. Dinner begins at 7pm and finishes at 7.30pm. These meal times MUST be respected.
O Parking: Houlgate – CREPS: a map of the CREPS will be sent to participants.

Conditions for obtaining reductions, which are non-cumulativeThe following reductions are granted on the cost of a non-residential course, excluding the administration fee:
- 5% for those registering before 30 June 2008.
- 8% for those who have already taken part in a course since 1/1/2008.
- 10% for those who have already taken part in a course in Cabourg.
- 20% reduction on the cost of a non-residential course of the sponsoree is granted to the sponsor participant, whatever the formula chosen by the sponsor or the sponsoree (see conditions on the following page).
- 1 free non-residential course is offered to all participants who register 4 other people for the complete course (see conditions on the following page).
- 1 free non-residential course is offered to teachers accompanying several pupils.
- a special fee is offered to pupils of the Paris Opera and foreign National Operas (5% in 6th division, 10% in 5th division, 15% in 4th division, 20% in 3rd division, 25% in 2nd division, 30% in 1st division and 50% for above. Free for leading dancers and above).
